’ For those about to rock ‘
This is me today. I rocked it hard at work and now I am on the couch watching figure skating. Awwww…yeah!! I am a hard rocker, through and through.
One of the best explanations of SOPA I’ve seen yet.
This is right in line of my “regaining motivation & willpower” theme that you’ll continue to see over the next several weeks. Thanks Huff Post.
- Develop a reasonable goal and a reasonable plan.
- Create a list of reasons why it’s important to you to reach your goal, and read this list (even when you don’t feel like it) every morning and whenever when you’re tempted to deviate from your plan.
- Give yourself credit whenever you engage in behaviors designed to help you reach your goal or avoid behaviors that would steer you away from your goal.
- Set up a plan to be accountable (to yourself or to another person or group).
- Respond to sabotaging thinking.
- Identify obstacles and problem solve in advance.
- Prepare for feelings of discouragement, disappointment and deprivation.
- Decide on how you will reward yourself when you reach sub-goals.
- Focus on the experiences you deem “worth it.”
- Get back to basics when you get off track.
I gotta curb unhealthy eating and spending too much money. Argh!
Breakfast!
Poached eggs with avocado and dairy-free, home made hollandaise sauce.
Yum!
Frank relaxing on Papa. He is pretty tuckered out from sleeping all night. Ah, the life of a cat.
“Caf-lib”, a grain beverage with chicory. I am trying it this morning instead of coffee. It isn’t bad! I put too much sugar in but it does taste like coffee.
Cary Grant
I love Cary Grant! We watched the Golden Globes last night. (obviously! That is all I have posted about today!) I can’t believe how much George Clooney reminds me of Cary Grant. He is missing the cleft chin though.
